U.S.-Peru Trade Promotion Agreement

The U.S.-Peru Trade Promotion Agreement is the logical next step to the highly successful U.S.-Chile Free Trade Agreement. The Peru FTA will create important new markets for U.S. goods, with eighty percent of U.S. consumer and industrial products and more than two-thirds of U.S. farm exports gaining immediate duty-free access to the Peruvian market.

The United States already exports more than $2 billion in goods per year to Peru, a figure that will grow considerably upon implementation of the U.S.-Peru Free Trade Agreement.
